Background
Jack is graduating from the University of Florida in Spring 2022 with his BS in Biomedical Engineering and minors in Engineering Innovation and Engineering Leadership. Jack’s future plans involve entering the medical device industry- specifically with opportunities in design and development, R&D, quality control, and human factors engineering.
Research
Jack is focused on 2 projects within the Parker Lab. 1) Differential effects on BCG on naive, M1, and M2 macrophages, 2) Better Treatments for Bacterial Vaginosis. Outside of experimental projects, Jack works as a project manager for the undergraduate interns to orient them into lab operations and train them in basic lab skills, literature searches, and fundamentals of research.
Hobbies & Interests
Outside of school, Jack enjoys running, volleyball, music, travel, and cooking.
