Dr. Diandra Prioleau Ojo

Dr. Ojo received her PhD from the University of Florida in Computer Science in May 2023 under the mentorship of Juan Gilbert.​

Dr. Ojo serves as a clinical coordinator and ML expert for analysis of multi-omic data.

Cameron Celeste

Biomedical Engineering

Cameron graduated from the University of Florida in 2021 with his BS in Biomedical Engineering. During that time, he worked in the SYBORGS Lab under Dr. Amor Menezes where they did projects in synthetic biology and controls theory.

Cameron enjoys composing choral pieces and making music with his loop pedal. He also likes sailing, cooking, and cycling.

Wambui Gachunga

Biomedical Engineering

Wambui graduated in 2022 with her BS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. While at OU, Wambui worked in the Wilhelm lab where she engineered and designed nanomaterials for use in biomedical applications and clinical translation.

 

Wambui likes to try new restaurants/cuisines, workout, explore new cities, and go thrifting.

Zoe graduated in 2021 with her BSE in Biomedical Engineering and minors in French, Physiology, and Neurobiology from the University of Connecticut. At UConn, Zoe worked in a learning lab on the Neurobiology of Individual Differences.

In her free time, Zoe likes to crochet and develop party tricks such as honking.

Ajay's goal is to become a practicing physician that sees and operates on patients regularly while playing a key role in field advancing research that focuses on neurodegenerative diseases.

 

He likes to participate in athletics ranging from gymnastics to martial arts which he has been practicing most of his life. He also enjoys photography and taking landscape pictures and action shots.
